~General Stuff~
Well, I have a younger sister Leah (13 @ right with dogs, Fairwell and Kikko) and a younger brother Elliott (10). Then there's my Mom and Dad, but they don't count too much. :) We have a ton of pets, like 7 dogs, 3 cats and of course there is my horse- Beau. (We also have an assorted number of chickens.) I have dedicated a section HERE to my little cat, and there are a couple pics. Anyway, that's basically my family. Lot's of dogs, people and an assorted number of cats and chickens. :) Oh yeah, and a couple of goldfish who live in an outdoor pond.
~Old News~
So life goes on....That's pretty old news. No, but seriously I've wanted to write about
our trip last February to Colorado, but never had the time / energy / inspiration to get around
to doing it. We went up there for our normal week and it was a blast! I tried snowboarding
for the first time along with my Dad, bro and sis. Although, I was the only one who stuck with
it all week after the first couple of days of bruising. Snowboarding is da bomb, but you
have to be prepared to take a pounding when you're first learning. It's tough, but it's one of
those perserverance pays off things. So here are the pics to prove I really enjoyed myself.
I think the weirdest thing about snowboarding is having your feet stuck together on a board that
is almost as long as you, and just about as wide. Hmm, that kinda describes snowboarding doesn't it?
Well, going fast downhill with no brakes what-so-ever.....
I'm hardly complaing though, because once you learn how to work the board, it just becomes a part of you and it gets really fun. Then there are always those scary moments when you see the snow rushing towards your face and you do a full face plant. Puff! You're covered in cold, wet, snow! After a long day of this you kinda wonder how you're ever going to get back on the slopes the next day and then realize the only way you will is if you don't think about it.... Yup, that's the life! Just don't make me live in Colorado, and I'll be happy.
Hahahaha! That's me! My nose and face are red because it's very, very cold. Snow is though...cold I mean.
Home is always best. :) I love coming home after a trip. It's always warm and cozy. Living in one place forever
has advantages. So here's Home Sweet Home!!!
My dear little bro, took the photo of our house at right, so that is why it is a little off center.
Well, to totally change the subject.... The other day I was thinking after a friend of the family asked how long
I've liked horses and I couldn't come up with an appropriate answer. How long? I dunno, was there ever a time
when I didn't like horses? If so I can't remember. :) Of course that doesn't mean anything. For my final photo
i decided to include this one. Rather embarassing, but my Mom found it recently and it's pretty funny given the
circumstances.
Yup! That's me. :) *embarassed grin* I was kinda cute way back then. I know you've noticed by now, that my facination
with horses has been a long time thing. Like all my life? See? I had that spring horse for a really long time, and
when I outgrew it, I got a larger one. Then this year I finally got Beau! My life is complete. :) Oh yeah! Life is
worth living if you have a horse! (If you haven't been out to see Beau yet, and you'd like to - email me.) I guess that's
it. I hope you enjoy the rest of my page!
